A bank

Runs credit-decision AI in a managed enclave. Every consequential model decision is anchored through Witness at inference time. When the supervisor asks how a decision was made, the answer is a cryptographic audit trail — not a log file someone could have edited. Compliance becomes evidence, not testimony.

A builder

Composes Sigil, Charter, and Witness in one declarative call. Ships a tokenized service in days — identity handled, proofs automatic, no integration glue. The architecture they would otherwise spend a quarter building is the substrate.

An operator

Runs validator nodes under a Sigil-bound identity. Secures the substrate, earns for doing it, and builds a public, portable reputation on Scan — attributable behavior, visible track record.

An individual

Holds a Sigil in the wallet. Sees which AI systems touched their data and when, grants and revokes consent with effect the chain enforces, and carries one identity across every system on the realm. The individual is not the product here. They are a resident.
