The components

Nine primitives.Two tiers.One realm.

Every component does one thing well, and was designed alongside the others. Foundation primitives — identity and proof — hold up everything else. Application primitives — the working layer — let actors orchestrate, migrate, tokenize, and connect.

How to read this page

Two tiers, one stack.

Foundation holds up the realm. Application is what actors compose into work.

Foundation tier

Sigil and Witness. Without these, no participation, no verification, no realm.

Application tier

Synod, Nexa, Vigil, Charter, Commons, Arbiter, Retinue. The working primitives that actors compose.

Sigil

Decentralized identity

The cryptographic primitive every actor on Xyress holds. Identity is portable, sovereign, and tier-aware — pseudonymous, verified, or proof-of-personhood. Humans, organizations, AI agents, devices, and government entities are all first-class subjects on the same primitive. The realm does not grant identity; it issues it.

Witness

Proof framework

Verifiable proofs about state, behavior, and history — the kind of evidence the platform can act on without trusting the source. The default condition of the realm is "show me, don't tell me," and Witness makes that condition operable.

Synod

Multi-model AI orchestration

Multiple foundation models working in parallel on consequential decisions. A deliberative body, not an oracle. Models cross-check each other; results are anchored through Witness. AI governance enforced at the platform layer — not left to app code.

Nexa

AI-driven lifecycle entry

Migrate, modernize, or onboard systems onto Xyress. Reads existing systems and produces both the modernized version and the on-chain components. The entry point for the system lifecycle — AI-driven transformation, not manual re-architecture.

Vigil

Substrate-level security

AI-driven continuous security analysis built into the chain — an attentive presence, not a perimeter. Augments human auditors at the highest stakes. Security is not a layer you add to the realm; it is built into it.

Charter

Tokenization capability

Any system on Xyress can tokenize. The customer chooses the model; Charter handles issuance, identity binding, and settlement. Xyress does not run a marketplace — Charter is the capability, not the trading venue.

Commons

Inter-system access graph

How systems on Xyress configure access, and how visitors navigate between them. The connective tissue of the realm — not a directory, but the structure of permission and traversal across sovereign systems.

Arbiter

AI model ranking

Evaluates AI model performance across collaborative-ensemble and single-model operations. Rankings anchored through Witness, surfaced publicly via Xyress Scan. Accountability for AI behavior, built into the platform.

Retinue

Agent hiring

Hire Xyress-provided, platform-tuned agents under bounded autonomy. Actions recorded through Witness, ranked via Arbiter, visible on Xyress Scan. Autonomous agents with attribution, accountability, and auditable behavior.

How they compose

The integration is the product.

Components were designed to work together. The value is in the composition.

Composition 01

Identity + Proof

SigilWitness

Sigil tells the realm who you are. Witness tells the realm what you did. Together they are the identity-and-proof primitive that every other component depends on.

Composition 02

AI governance

SynodArbiterWitness

Synod makes multi-model decisions. Arbiter ranks the models making them. Witness anchors both. You can trust the AI behavior because it is attributable and ranked — not because you were told to.

Composition 03

System entry

NexaSigil

Nexa is how systems come to live in the realm. Sigil is how the realm knows who they are. The combination is a full onboarding path: AI-driven transformation plus identity assignment.

Composition 04

Token layer

CharterSigilWitness

Charter tokenizes; Sigil binds the token to an identity; Witness attests the issuance. The result is a token with a provenance trail, not just a balance.
